I just got to tell some about this. As my box arrvied yesterday and is working fantastic!

I'm on NTL or now called virgin media. But I understand this box works on ALL cable TV providers in UK & Ireland.

There is a box called "Dreambox 500C" which replaces your cable reciever box and decodes you ALL the channels broadcasted by your cable provider. The box gives you all movies, sports, music, adult, everything FREE.

Its untracible and with update itself when your service provider changes keys.
I have ust got my recording directly to my hard drive and playing movies from my hard drvie also on the TV:)

I bought mine from Zeus Shop ***removed***
Admins remove this link if its against rules

Delivery in UK & Ireland is FREE and mine arrvied in 2 days.

I got mine for £110 on Wedensday and I notice at time of posting this its upto £113.00, Im sure if you email the shop and state you want it at £110 they will dispatch one.

Anyways, if anyone needs any help setting it up, just give me a shout. Thought I'd give something back to this forums after months of larning good stuff from it.

Its simply brain dead to pay 113 quid for a clone box.
A genuine one with garantee cost around 130 quid.

its actually about £99 + shipping I paid for the box.
Orginal boxs cheapest £130 + shipping.

I perfer to save money, thats why I dont want to pay for tv channels:)
And concidering theres not much which can go wrong with a dreambox I think I got a good deal:)

Best offer 130 quid including shipping for a genuine box. If something went wrong to have guarantee.
If you want the risk of a cloned box you should search for a cheaper source. Best offer is 75 quid including shipping for a cloned box.

There is actually no difference. I have both and they are identical. I got the fake for £85 delivered so no complaints.

The main difference is the price and its simply brain dead to pay nearly the same for a fake box then a genuine one would cost.
Some ebay offers for fake boxes are only a handfull quid cheaper then genuine boxes.
A genuine box has guarantee and you can let it repair from dream multimedia if something went wrong.
The hologramm at a fake box has some missing parts.

I've got a friend in Ireland (Republic) who would like a dreambox to replace his cable service. Before I buy(DM500C) and send him one does it need any special setup or a different image for it to work in Ireland?
I'm not very good at this so please keep it simple. Thanks in advance.
    Cheers!

It depends for which area in Ireland.
Chorus cable need a special cables.xml and chorus mmds is not functional with a cable box.

    Guys,
I am new here and looking to buy a D500c in the UK for use on cable.

    I want to buy a genuine Dreambox, but am equally tempted by a clone. Where are the best places to buy;

    1. A 100% genuine Dreambox D500c cheapest
    2. A clone cheapest

I would prefer it pre-flashed and ready if poss, but if not, I could learn to flash it myself i'm sure.

I am in London, I currently have a EurovoxMax, but am disappointed with the picture quality, and have heard a Dreambox is better??

    Thanks in advance!
