Dreambox 500c in UK are excellent boxes

    it has the irish and uk providers as standard in the dw 2.0 image its a great image mate

    hey glic, i downloaded the dv 2.0 image, and i got it extracted through winrar, but when i try and open the extracted file, it goes straight to my nero software which then asks me whether i wanna make a cd of the file??? I don't know where I'm going wrong on this one?? by the way, I contacted the guy who sold me the 500c and he exchanged my box with a new one which was pre-flashed, so it is working great... but just wanna know in case any problem occurs in the future and then I'll be able to flash it myself. You've been of great help btw and it's greatly appreciated.

    yup i have a dreambox 500C and it's went off.Only free to air channels working.

    does anybody know whats gone wrong. it was still the same this morning.what can we do to put it right.thanks for any help.

    I also have a dreambox 500C that has "lost" all but free to air channels.

    Can anybody offer any advice or suggest a fix?

    i have tried reflashing mine aswell and still no sign of the channels.
    Does anyone actually have virgin media and have theres gone off aswell???

    So does anyone have any ideas or point me in the right direction.

    there has been a lot of changes with the keys just google for the latest keys for your provider

    press yellow then tuxbox commander,then go into var press ok, then keys press ok,then keylist.txt press number 4 and edit the key that needs to be edited save the changes and then restart the box
