    Sorry I've come up with another question.... For programs that offer interactive stuff via the "red button" - how do I get to these as when I press red it just brings up the EPG.

    No the red button does not work for interactive.

    ahh thanks, not just me going mad then - is there some other way to "press red" if you see what I mean?

    Yes sort of the interactive (press red channels) or just other feeds. Do a scan and look for channels with different names, like the BCC ones are EVTS or something like that.
