Dreambox 500T 500C Fixes here

As a newbie i just wanted to take time out to thank all the regular posters on this site for all your help and support. It does not go unnoticed and is much appreciated.

 

dears, i m new to this forum.

my dream500 is not working, when i start it, TV screen remains black and dream500 green LED keep on. please help.

such problem means, some thing wrong with the hardware or software?

Depend on what image you have flashed on the box.

Didi it work before?

yes, its was working before, suddenly dead after rebooting last night. i did not updated anything, received brand new from the seller with mgcamd subscriptions. i think it was clone.

my question are:

1- is it a hardware fault or software?
2- if i update with dreamup, then all my subscriptions will be lost?

his post: "Hi, a family member has had the dm500 workin for a while, last week he went to reboot it and the screen on the tv just went blue, the green light on the front of the box is permenantly on and the box does not respond, i have tried flashin with null modem cable and dreamup, i get the message on dreamup sayin box flashed succesfully but when i connect eveything back up i still get the same thing, nothing on the tv, and green light permanantly on front of dreambox and box not responding,i am very grateful of any help please, many thanks in advance. Hi Guys, I was wondering if the keys had changed for the 5C01 area again? My DM500C was working fine four days ago but when I put it on this morning all I had were the free to air

 

Any news from the Dreambox guys on if or when there will be a fix for the N2 signal?????????//

 

Can I take it from silence the fix release is imminent??????????

 

is there any way you can get bbc1,bbc2,c4 sly1,2 back on dreambox 500c,these have not gone to N2 yet but cant be scanned back in???????????
ps dreambox support here has totally dried up.

 

Hi, can some1 please PM me with any info they can about dm500-c?? Im lost by this thread. after goin through almost all pages and havent a clue how to fix, scan flash anything or dont even know if a new fix is out.

And is it possible to get channels back if i still have some now???

Dreamboxx support has not dried up. Its an open source box so as such the community can work on a fix as a whole. The info on how to do it has been posted across many forums and there are people working on it, but not from a commercial point of view, these are guys who want to fix it not just for the free TV.

There may be a fix but its certainly not public as of yet.

 

it depends on where you are as to weather its worth flashing,if your ireland forget it.

 

I've heard thru my grapevine that a fix is on on the way! Some tweeks still being sorted but shortly to be released.

 

Big long grapevine gonna be a while before you get the fixes mate.

I hope there is a fix soon!! Lost sky sports news in last few days and i have finally cracked. it was the only channel left on it that i watched.

 

I lost channels, rescanned (bruteforce) and got them back but my bouquets needed readjusted to the new channels.
