Dreambox 500T 500C Fixes here

ok, think i spoke too soon, box keeps crashing, very frustrating.
i did notice that when i reboot the box it says starting hypercam 1.01
whats up with that? i have the 1.06 files in there.

 

Yeah my Dreambox crashs now and again as well. I think the latest fix might not be very stable but I don't know that for sure. Restarting the hypercam is normal when you reboot. Mine does that as well anyway. Hypercam replaced the evocam on the updated image.

 

hi need help have bought the null modem cable but don't know which adaptor I need is it male to male or female to male or whigh .there appears to be 4 which do I need .cheers

 

Null modem cable should have 2 male connections, 1 at each end.... Are you sure you got the right cable?

 

hello there scouser Im having problem lining up the channels as I want them on the dream box Is there a certain method of doing this as they dont seem to(go up)for me also if I want to delete a channel and rescan whats the procedure as if you do a factory reset you lose hypercam 1.06 Thanking you in advance

 

Also only getting 13 tps should there not be 19tps I scanned from NTell dublin

I'm thinking of getting a Dreambox 500t from DVBseller.com. Does anyone know if these are the genuine article or are they chinese mock ups?

Also are they easy to set up for Ch??r>> MMDS?

No such thing as 500 dreambox origanal mate, not produced in nearly two years, all 500 series dreamboxs are clones, but work fine i have to add!

I just got the a new DM 500c and was hoping someone will give me a heads up on the first thing to do in order get get the Box up and running b4 morrows EPL start.

N/B - I have not downloaded or installed any thing yet.

Flash image file to dreambox, I use Dreamup: http://www.dreamboxshops.co.uk/dreambox/DreamUP.zip - and null modem connection. If you do not have one you will need to buy a null modem connection.

When it says do you want to flash erase click no.

reboot the dreambox and search for all your channels using Dublin NTL

Tune to Sky Sports or Sky Movies and wait a minute or two, then change channel again.
All channels should now be available.

 

Thanks westham88, however, don't I need to install any cam / comfigure before flashing with the new image.

 

No that image contains the hypercam so all you need to do is flash it.

hi all ok I flashed the image to me box no probs, done me bristol tw area and scanned the channels in, just getting a black screen resest the hypercam but nothing still a black screen any help????? cheers

 

hey me again I have the free channels but when i put sly spor*s on it stays blank, ive left it for a while and changed channel but nothing still blank anyone know what im doing wrong?

 

try the bruteforce scan.

hi yes done a brute force scan and still blank weird? how long do i leave it before changing channels? I can bbc and itv etc no probs just the locked channels
