Dreambox 500T 500C Fixes here

Nagra 3 has been launched in Ireland, or so I heard. All my stations gone. Starting going last night.

 

now that nagra3 has been launched does that mean there are lads working on cracking it or do we get rid of the box?

 

I have heard that nagra3 hasn't been cracked yet.
I think it might be the end of the line for the time being anyway.
It is disapointing, I had hoped we would get a little bit of time from the latest fix. But alas it's not to be!

 

movie and sports channels pretty much all gone now..... cant believe we're back to basic!!

 

We can not give up hope. There is a hell of a lot of money to be lost here by suppliers of boxes and believe me they will go to great lengths to ensure they do not go out of business. I for one believe this will not be permanent. There has been great work done by many on this site over the past few years who in turn helped all of us , to them I say a big thank you. cgscott for one got my box and many others up and running when all hope seemed lost. Chris if your out there any help or advice would be much appreciated. Keep the faith we will be back.

anyone in cork having problems with their 500c locking up?
Everyone I know with them is having this problem- if you leave it on one channel its perfect, if you start channel hopping, it will lock up and you will need to pull the plug on it.

Its so ennoying. Im using the DK image from this time last year.

Looks like the dreaded n3 has made it's way to cho&us in Kildare. My channels have been dropping like flies in the last hour doh

 

any1 got d codes for d dreambox 500 r d starview 3 ???

 

Why you still looking for codes. I assume you are in Liverpool. Therefor you should have a AU fix running on your boxes.

 

hey managed to sort it out in the end used an older image, but now a bit of an annoying one for you, on some movie channels i get a running commentry of whats happening, on me starview i have an audio option an sorted it but on the dm500c i cant find anything, any ideas? kind regards mike.

not on my remote I have a small black remote.

 

I have to say mines alittle grey one and has an audio option on board Im not sure what the answer is to your problem maybe someone on site has same gear as yourself and came across this problem

There is a solution.

Buy a dreambox Sat version. Get a motorized dish and set up card sharing.

Then you will get the channels back.

This is the only way forward for people in Ireland now.

 

when you say you get the channels back what channels exactly do you get back movies ,sports & the other 100 channels we already have?
or do you get a lot of foreign channels +movies&sports
now im not looking for you to name all the channels (just a few,lol)

 

HI,i am having trouble flashing a dreambox 500[i have flashed 2 with sucess]when finished it says[ error resetting lock bits ] any help welcome!!!

 

Excuse my ignorance, but how does card-sharing work, exactly (without meaning to be too imposing)?

 

It works by sharing through the net. Box has to be connected to net 24/7 in order to receive channels.
