Dreambox 500T 500C Fixes here

New poster. I know nothing about flashing or anything like that, but I followed Jokerjay's instructions on Page 12 (I already have Enigma image so I didn't flash it). There were about half a dozen keys on mine but only two had been updated recently and one was identical to the latest codes on Bigmaq. The other one was one digit different, so I changed this and restarted the cams, but it didn't work. Then I noticed that all the keys had ROM7 after them, except the one I changed which had ROM10 after it. I changed it to ROM7, saved it, restarted the cams then bingo! All channels back again!! Well, up until 12:30 am when they went off. Anyway, I checked the keys again, and one had changed and it had ROM10 after it. So I changed it to ROM7 again, saved it, and restarted the cams and yet again, all the channels are on. It only took a minute to change, so not too much hassel. Although I would prefer not to do have to do it!

Anyway of getting the AU fix for the Dreambox 500c? I have checked the bigmaq toolbar update/fixes, however the webpage is not working. Also i have logged into the digitalworldz and i don't have the priviligies to get the download without posting..

Any assistance on getting this fix?

is it possible to flash a new image via a router and not a null cable and if so where do i flash the new image to ( in what file)

im on n*l in dublin and have 500c. not been working for a few days. have tried putting in codes but have only worked for a few hours before braking again I was wondering if someone could pm and tell me if a proper fix has been found and if so the details of it.

O have been radingthe forum fro a while anbd have finally decided to give it a go!Heading out to gut my null model rs232 in a bit and will be following the instructions giveon this thread to get my 500c back up and running! will elt you know how i go and apologies in advance for any silly questionsthat i may ask!

The new fix is here.
Have lots of fun.
Just replace this file with another one in the var/keys/ folder.

It has a password so you would need to pm me first.

lads it says the file is part of a programme and wont let me open it remember im no good at this stuff and my hand shakes when im just putting in the codes, im goin 2 have 3 kids and call them sat link and ciaran if we get it b4 the match

can anybody please tell me how to manually put codes in on enigma image please i know there is a fix out there but its for a friend who lives 6o miles away from me and he no computer

 

The guide is in the first post. If he is running an older image he will have to press the blue button to get TuxBox Commander up rather than the yellow button in the guide.

 

ciaran 500 can you help us out with the codes as you seem to know it all and i cant miss the match please

 

chor*s codes change twice daily i'm sure nthell same prob just have to get fix from somewhere?????????????

 

FFS , theres a fix . Use ftp and replace the fix with the old one
