Dreambox 500T 500C Fixes here

download the toolbar on previous pages and has all the keys/fixers/image etc etc

 

i know i need the firmware but need either another site with an img download or the new digitalworldz image which you cant download off them till you have been a member and posted 20 threads whats that all about please can anybody help x

 

you need to change only ROM7 keys and only one line also got to be the larest key going by todays date/time will start with 00 or 01
just change this and will be back on, do not change no others.

sorry mate didnt understand how doi get the new codes for virgin media on the 500c box

 

am just over the water from you, all just follow the instructions above this will supply the toolbar, image and loader to load the image from your pc to your dreambox, you dont need a new image this is working and from 26th march 2007 and am watching the match now with it everton/chelsea if you dont no how to flash read the guide.

does this happen to people with chorus.when the keys change and it autorolls on the dreambox the channels freeze for about 10 secs maybe more??? is everyone getting the same freeze??


my channels freeze for about 10 secs maybe more then it comes back on.but its so annoying.is there a setting i have on that needs to be turned off?? or will there be a fix? i see on the starviews it doesnt happen

 

all i no is Ireland is going through lots of changes at the moment and being used for new software v*rg*n is bringing out so you may have more problems than the rest of the uk, this started on monday 31st march 2008 and lasting around 2 weeks to try out hence why the boxes are going off,

I have done the following:

using null modem cable (plus USB converter - both available from Maplins at about 50euro the pair)

flash the DW 1.6.2 image onto the box

ftp the nagrarom 7 fix to var/keys/nagrarom.7 bin
(didn't work on DW v2 image)

Search using Bruteforce

Reboot.

Select a channel and wait a few minutes...

and hey presto!

Just done two boxes and both auto-updating and running fine.

Long may it last!!!

jokerjay u are the man i didnt get the lead yet have to wait till the weekend i spent the last few days havin 2 talk to the wife cause have no tele so as soon as i get a chance ill b getting that lead,im goin to have 2 kids and call them joker and jay keep up the good work mate

 

in dublin followed joker jays method for my dreambox yesterday autorolled today you little beaut!!!

 

does anybody know if the codes on the bigmaq toolbar are wrong for tonight i put them in and nothing happend??

 

trying to flash my dreambox dm 500c,

all connected etc

but when i use dnupman i type in the ip address and nothing.

i know you have to unplug the box and re-connect it but still nothing..

what the hell am i doing wrong ?????

any suggestions at all would be lovely

If your going to flash a db 500c then use dreamup. I use it all the time its easy and straight forward once you have a nullmodem serial cable

 

Sorry should have added. Connect up cables starrt up dream up type in the address of the dreambox and hit connect, then switch on the dreambox.

 

Can I use a cross over cable to upload nagrm 7,10,11.I have 1.6.5 on box.Help please

 

I use the ethernet thru my router and i find it to be quicker than the null modem cable.

If you can connect to the box it should work no probs.
