Delete all the old Nagra 1 keys/files in both keys & scce folders. Reboot box or restart hypercam. Which particular channels are they if they are on the one TP do a manual scan and it will pick them up.

You know me Steo I am never bothered who says what, its just the fact that it was on the page just before this one?? This is the prime example of why it took so long to fix in Ireland.

checked folders, both empty,..did a manual scans SR 6887 from 291 upwards in steps of 8, nothing new, not bothered realy I just dug out the old DM to see if the fix worked,..using a KV anyway. thanks

There are 2 bin folders one on the root and one in var make sure you're in var

is there any thing im doing wrong here .. cant find hypercam and have no router to ftp the files so can someone confirm that the latest image put up includes the hypercam file

 

You need a crossover cable if you have no router and you have to put hypercam and 2 other files onto the box it's in eamos library if you don't have it, it's called something like dbox ireland n2 fix3.

 

whats a cross over cable ?? only have null modem ?? and reading back as far as i was concerned some of the lads put an image up with the 3 files alredy in it cos i have the dreambox n2 fix with the var bin and hyper cam so i take it i need a crossover cable too now to ftp the files could you explain what the cable is thanks

 

You know an what ethernet/lan cable is, try one of them and if your computer doesn't pick up the box you need the crossover version of the cable.

You can't ftp with a null modem cable.

Or you can get a bit of Cat5e/Cat6, two RJ45 glass plugs and an RJ45 tool and make one up for pennies

 

well i think i understand now cos one of the lads 2 pages back said they flashed it with the image then ftp the files then backed them up as one image so maybe i got my wires crossed .. i have a cable similar to that one but not sure if its the right one so when i do get this cable how do i ftp cos never done it before .. i have filezilla would this be reccomended or another application .. and when im putting info in it asks for host is this ip .. then user which should be root and password which should be dreambox .. then the boot which i thought was 21 but what do i write in there

 

Just want to thank Bear,Lenny and Westham88 and others,great fix been trying two nights now and have just done my first box using the above instructions with a null only.
