I done it a different way, renamed hypercam_1.06 to evocamd lol (it worked) but I think it's easier to use the dbox fix (mgcamd) and just set it as default because it shows up.

Ok I am going to re-register here so I show up as a NEWBIE!!!

Around in circles i am going, flashed it, checked it was working, set up the FTP thingy to discover the script already mentions hypercam, connected the box to the TV, but the scan only picked up 21 channels (145 last night) and I the sports etc. are just black!! (was watching Sky Sports 2 on it last night, although it was late and maybe I was hallucinating??!), now where was step 1 again??!

Will start from flashing and see how i get on!!

Have you set the attributes of the file in the ftp program by right clicking on hypercam, selecting attributes and setting the number 644 to 755?

If so and no luck try this:

    Try using THIS

That's for the Dbox but works on Dreambox just put mgcamd into var/bin (attributes on mgcamd to 755) and all other files into keys then set mgcamd as default by pressing blue.

Great, would be an exagerration, but p**ing me off would be an understatement!!!

Flashed it again, scanned, picked up all the channels, onto sports 1 and then to 2 and they are working.

Disconnected the power and nowt working!!, except the free to air.

Into tuxbox, execute command, and red line goes a little way and stops!!

    press ok to execute.

    2 questions,

    1. Are you using DW or DK?

    2. Did you get it to temporarily work with Hypercam or Mgcamd?

Try This image. It's supposed to work straight away if it's bothering you that much.

Well I would not walk by my window at this moment, in case you get hit with a flying dreambox!!

Might just let the guy that owns the box move into my front room so I don't have to unplug it from the mains?!!

Will try that and let you know, thanks for the help.

If uses the image in steo's post a few posts back, he will not have to do anything after flashing.
