That's odd though that should work, I'll try more tomorrow if it still doesn't work.

you're not supposed to be pressing execute command you're supposed to be pressing blue when not in the menu and setting mgcamd as default (using the mgcamd fix)

did u go into "file mode" & press exit out of the menus ? doing this can cause this problem, you should go back to "TV Mode" & then press exit,..does the problem remain after you power off/on the box ?

I've got a DM7025+ in Dublin (running Gemini at the mo) and have been playing with the rqcamd update but with no luck.

Does anyone have a working image or some sage advice for me?

I made sure it was with mips version of rqcamd that I put up on the box and all of the other files needed, but nothing is clearing at all.

Hi hadmad ;) the image and patch for the 500c will not work on a 7025 as it is Enigma 2 based.

@mhill7895 you will find the fix for the 7025 here you need to add it as below:

    1. As you are currently running a Gemini image, you need to install mgcamd, any version will do and a quick google will find one for you.

    2. Install the mgcamd config file also and set emu to CI via the blue button menu.

    3. Rename mgcamd.mips (contained in link above) to the exact name of your installed mgcamd file in usr/bin. FTP the renamed file across to replace your one.

    4. Make sure mgcamd has CHMOD attributes set to 755. Do this by right clicking the file via FTP.

    5. FTP softcam.key, autoroll.key and priority list files to usr/keys or var/keys.

    6. Reboot the box or restart the cam via the blue button menu.

@Sc0user - thanks for all of that.

I assume that I still require all of the roms that were used before?

You can leave them if you like but they will take up space and are no longer required.

I did a clean flash of the DM7025 with Gemini 4.40.
I installed mgcamd and the config on the box through the UI.
FTP'd mgcamd.mips to /usr/bin and renamed it to the downloaded version
    CHMOD'd 755 the renamed mgcamd
FTP'd the other 3 files into the /var/keys directory
    Restarted dreambox
Selected mgcamd in the UI as the CAM
    Went to SS1 and waited............

Channels aren't clearing and I'm not sure why - any thoughts?

MGCamd (this fixed one that is...) does not work for the DM7025 (this is the mips version for Enigma2) - RqCamd does however...

    Just as an FYI

Hi, hopefully someone might be able to help me out !!
I'm in Dublin, using NTL Cable. Have a Dreambox DM800PVR.
Have flashed the box with a NewNigma2 2.6 NFI image.
When I scan I just get a handful of fta channels. RTE1,2 City Channel etc.
I FTPed the 3 files for Hypercam 1.06 fix to bin folder using Filezilla & changed attributes to 755. When I execute the hypercam 1.06 file with Tux Commander I get a blue screen but no messages to say it has run & if I do a top on the box, I dont see Hypercam active.
Firstly, am I on the right track. Will this fix work on the Dreambox DB800 PVR ?? Most of the treads I've read, seem to talk about the 500C & DBox 2's etc. Any guidance would be much appreciated !!
