Nah, FTP all 3 files to the folder Var/bin.
Right click on each file, go to properiies and change permissions value to 755.
Press blue button on remote, go to Tux Commander.
Select var/bin and hightlight hypercam 1.06.
Press OK to execute, SAVE settings and exit.
Tune to Sly Sports or Sly Movies and wait a minute or two, then change channel again.
All channels should now be available.

 

Hi guys. Have done all as shown but still no pic. I am using DW image. Does the fix work with this or only the DK1 image?

 

Not quite sure, as I only have DK image but I know this works a treat as Im up and running. Try loading the DK image from eamos library first then FTP the new N2 (temp) fix files, following above procedure.

 

P.S. Try reset to factory settings first in expert settings in menu!

Ok , followed the process. however just to clarify..

1. Start box
2. Install var/bin 3 files
3. chmod 755 & exit FTP
4. Enter Tuxbox and go to var/bin directory
5. Highlight hypercam_1.06 & Ok to bring up execute option
6. Select execute & blank blue screen
7. exit & repeat exit and save
8. Select sky sports and leave for few min
9. Change Channel..

Its still doesnt work ... can someone flash a backup image if they have it working...

Or am i missing a step ? ?

col23, any chance you could post the Dk image or pm me with it please. Head melted with this thing.....

 

Did you just post a blank image ... ? Can you not back up one you have working ....

 

Use the DW image,follow instructions above for new fix, then scan for channels using automatic bruteforce UK 6887, then Press blue button on remote, go to Tux Commander.

TUX is located by Yellow button , not blue ? Are you sure you have this working

 

joebass, are u using the DWimage? Im having the exact same prob as u. Blue screen with writing st the top. Nothing else happens..

 

starting to think this are UPC engineers sending us cap ... as it killed one box already .. but not for long , I'll go back to lifting the boxkey and using my cards*are

 

col. Any change of backing up ur working image, or the normal DK image and i can try that one please. Cheers.

I have also tried this with PLi, Gemini and DW images and not one of them work .. It killed my Gemini box ...

can someone post a link to a DK image ?? as I am starting to think this is not a fix ..

Startin to think ur right joebass. I wish it was a genuine fix, but anyone who says they have it working have the DK image I believe. If someone could post that image I'd gladly give it a go.

 

If anyone has a dk access .. looking for Digital Kaos v1.1 to test ... anyone want to help and get it >?
