yes network is enabled still nothing can i buy a cross over cable in the shops or is there anyway it can be done with a null modom cable thanks for all your help

 

You can cut a lan cable in half and join the right wires together or you can buy it in a shop.

got it working with the dk imagine alright..

only one thing though.. it has bouquets setup with folder names.. but none of the channels are sorted into them..
is there any quick way of doing it on the pc and organise them or download someone elses organised ones?

 

also how is it possible to get the script to auto start after its been unplugged?

 

I took your advice and made the cross over cable now in my network list i have an unidentified network but still cant make a connection to the dreambox

What should there be anything wrote in for remote path also should the proxy server say default or no proxy needed

 

try everything as 192.168.0.3 then save and try to connect again.

have you tried turning on dchp and saving and restarting the box and checking did the ip change again.

As i understand things i need to upload dk1.1 then ftp the 3 files into the var folder.

my problem is this.

WHAT 3 FILES?

I have read this forum from start to finish several times and downloaded just about everything there is a link to but i cannot for the life of me see any "hyperlink 1.06" file

Any suggestions? apart from "cop on"

PS i have to download the files at my workplace then bring them home and try to flash the box, perhaps this is why i am only seeing one file when i download.........

there is a file called n2 Ireland its the first link on page 1
that has 3 files in it when downloaded You will need to download FLASHFXP Google it

 

Hi can somebody back up a working image for dreambox 500c for me I just cant make a connection to drembox with eternet connection iv tryed everything PLEASE take the time to help others as they take the time to help u

I have already downloaded that .tar file and the ftp programme.

It's only that the new file on the pc is only actually one file. I guess when i FTP it onto the dreambox all 3 will be revealed?

Is anybody having trouble with freq 150? I can't get the channels on mine or my mates a mile away, while my itgate is fine. 150 would include kerrang and fashion tv

I am using DK1.1

 

yep 150000 finds no channels

 

I have Kerrang and Fashon TV, do a manual scan on 00150 mhz and make sure to tick the INV: box.
