Hey, Im having the weirdest problem. Basically it all starts just after it loads windows. After its finished loading windows it goes black. Then i wait around 30 seconds and the cursor comes up behind a black screen. When i move the mouse it moves so slowly. Just around the black screen. Then after another 30 seconds it very slowly launches windows. And then after about a minute it launches windows fully. The screen flashes and then it works fine. I assume this is a driver problem as ive just recently formatted. However i installed all the latest drivers and it just doesnt work!!! My Specs are: X1800GTO (Sapphire) A8N-SLI SE And the rest is in my sig. Any ideas as this is really bugging me!
Did you try using the drivers that came with the card? I know they will be older than the most current, but its worth a shot. Does the same thing happen in safe mode? Any yellow exclamation points in Device Manager? ~Rich
Nope lost the cds And no exclamation marks. Drivers are installed this is really annoying me. Any other suggestions?
