ds firecard

I have the ds fire card and have mario kart ds on it but i want to use a someone else save,i have one save in .sav format but when i replace my current one with the other persons one, and start up the game it just starts a new save instead of loading the save that of the other person.

i've never tried this myself, so i dont know if using other peoples saves works.....it 'might'!?

try this...
what was the last game you played before replacing the 'sav file'..was it mario kart?
.
go into the DSYSTEM folder in your firecard....delete the file that says 'last save'(this will delete the last save file created)
then replace the MK sav file.
then try.

do the game and the saves name have to be the same
