dual layer, dual format

    I was wondering how to extract just one video format, i.e. widescreen, from a dual layer disc with both.

    This would avoid having to use two disks, as I really only watch the one.

    I assume I'd have to look at the file structure, or use a program that would allow me to see what each file on the disk is, but I'm not really sure how to do this.

    DVD Shrink will allow you to review each file, and you can see which one is Wide screen.

    That's what I remember reading, I guess the only thing is if the main movie file that is in the undesired format is the only file that should be omitted.
