I burn/back up my dvds and here is my question. If i buy dual layer dvds which have more space. Do i have to do the whole compression with dvd shrink or can i do like a disc copy using nero or another program?

    Thanks in advance

No you will not have to compress anything because about 99.9% of movies are on dual layer discs. You won't be able to copy it with Nero unless it has no copy protection at all. The best way to do it is to use Ripit4Me to rip to an .iso image, and then burn that image at 4x with DVDDecrypter, Nero, ImgBurn, etc.
