I was looking at my The Source down the road from here and I saw this

    http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/P...&category=CD-RW/CD/DVD+Drives&product=2512652

It's a Dual Layer DVD Burner so does this mean that this would be acceptable to backup my 360 games? I doubt this is great quality because it is only $99.99. I figured that a DL DVD Burner would be alot more expensive because there is a regular DVD Burner for the same price. Would you guys recommend this Centrios brand DL DVD Burner?

PS: I wasnt sure whether to post this in the Xbox360 forum or here.

Hey andersg, this burner is more than expensive. There are much more other DL burners which are much much more cheaper than that. For that same price you can even get a Plextor drive which is the best out there, but the BenQs are very good too and cheap,if i'm right you can get the benq drive(DW-1650/1655) as from $35 with the DL capabilities.Normally almost all new burners come with DL read and write capabilities and are at reasonable prices. Now if you're saying that you're going to use this burner to burn your 360 games, then i would suggest you to ask some advices in the 360 forum as i've read that some 360 game backups are great on some particular burners whereas some on other burners are not so good(360 drives are a bit pricky concerning on which drive you burn the games).

But sure that the product in that link you gave is way too expensive.Another thing is that you should look for a burner which can booktype to DVD-ROM,to make your game or movie backups more compatible.

I figured $99.99 was pretty cheap but I'm all for saving money. I doubt I will even use it to backup my games anyways because I am not so good at stuff like that. BTW what do you mean booktype to DVD-ROM? How does this make it better?

Dude! You mean $99.99 is pretty cheap for you???I guess you're kind of the rich guy here, hehe!Don't take me wrong, that's fine as long as you're comfortable on budget. At least you can afford getting things that some people, like me,won't get because of too higher prices. But you should know that sometimes you can have things much cheaper and much better than some stuffs that are much more expensive. The Benq drives DW-1650/1655 are the perfect example.I don't know much about that Aopen burner, but from what i've learned,it's a bit hard and not a lot of burners can beat the benq drives quality, except some Plextor drives which are more epensive btw.But if you want a very good and reliable burner and at very affordable price,i would suggest you get one of these Benq drives. You can almost get three Benq drives with that same $99.99 you are about to spend on that Aopen drive.

Here's a thread link on the that famous Benq drives,
