About half of my back ups skip or freeze, i changed from burning at 8x to 6x and problem still exists. Has anybody ever used these kind of discs. Should i slow down to 4x or 2x?
Most veterans here will flat tell you that anything over 4X doesn't outweigh the risk of write errors. I would also try to upgrade to a higher quality brand of media as well. But for now try going slower to see if you can't possibly salvage the ones you have. Or set them off to the side and save them for data only and no video. Quality of media can really make a difference in the outcome of the video.
What do you expect if you buy junk disc's? Burn at the lowest possible speed. If you still have problems, break disc's and through away.
