I burned a few backups of some of my movies and i'm having some problems and was wondering if someone might have an idea on how to fix them. First I'm using the newest version dvd shrink used on a LG-4020B and Pioneer A04 (i think A04). In any case these are the problems I'm having whenever I burn some movies they're blotchy and skip, sometimes don't boot up, however if I push menu right away it goes to the main menu but the eps/movie is still skippy. I don't think it's the media as with PS2 backups they're fine, as well with other movies they're fine and i've also tried verbatim dvd-r(w)'s. Oh yeah it also doesn't matter whether it's dvd 5 or dvd 9. so if anyone has any ideas on what I can try please post.

Have you tried burning them at a slower speed?
It does sound like it`s the media, have you tried ritek or verbatim dvdr- media burnt at 1x or 2x?
