Help i just bought a new sony dru-530a 8x dvd burner...installed fine reads software cds...music cds...and plays dvds...but does not recognize ANY blank media?? helppp
Hi, I'd suggest downloading ForceASPI and running that to ensure your ASPI is in good order, it may very well clear up your problem
HEY THANKS..i think i found the prob...i dont think i had the drives jumpered correctly and in the right locations in the cable..i disconnected both drives (both on secondary ide channel) and just connected the new burner to the end of the cable jumpered as master and it worked with dxdxcopy xpress. now i just need to get my other drive installed and see what happens.
Ahhh.... wrong jumpers will certainly mess things up! The ideal setup is to have your burner set to master (jumpers too!) and your secondary drive as slave Happy burning!
