I have recently been using my Sony DRX-830 UL to burn a photo slideshow(dvd). Before buring the preview on the pc has perfect picture quality and perfect sound quality. However after I burn and play it on my dvd player for some reason there are certain parts wherein the sound would scramble. Each time I burn at a different section of the slide show. I don't know what the problem is. I am using Dvd-R discs. My player is Union but the same thing happens when i play it in a different player. Please help what do i do to remedy this problem? I have wasted over 10 dvd-rs trying to remedy it.

I am currently using Nero 7.1.

    Thank you.

Just to be clear, have you written the output to the hard disk and played it with the media player (to see if it's good before burning)?

i found out that burn defect changes depending on the brand of player i use. I guess it was the blanks. sad though I already used two different kinds. Yes. It plays perfectly on the pc.

Verbatim disks, burned at 4x, seldom fail.
