DVD Burning Problems

    sup guysd i have recently purchased a I/O Magic External DVD Burner with Dual Format Double Layering which to my vague understanding suppose to double layer a media disc with two layers so a disc can hold 8.5 GB but when i try to burn my movies to the disc it will only say i can hold the regular 4.7 GB and that i should use a DVD9 disc which i can not find in store and everybody i ask look at me like im a complete idoit does anyone know how i can get my burner to do the double layering or where i can purchase the DVD9??? thanks ~Knate~

    You do need DL disks to burn DL disks. That is, if your burning program recognizes the IOMagic as a dual layer burner, and you have DL disks.
    You can find them at most good computer shops, and big box stores.
    You can also find them online. Do a search for "Verbatim DL+R"
