Trying to burn way too fast, slow to max 8X.

You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml

You might also like to run this clean tool to remove all traces of Nero 6

    Hi knightman
Take the burn speed down to 12x or 8x - you're overburning the 16x TY to 20x.

Using Shrink? Nero 6 still shows in the log but if you're using Shrink this may be why.

    File 'Drivers\CDRALW2K.SYS
Still failing? Ten uninstall Roxio and run the zap tool

    Keep us posted.

Thanks for the help. I ran the Roxio zapper. I played around and I can burn disc if I run it through Nero Recode burning at 8x. I tried running dvdshrink and slowing down the burn at 2.4x and I still get and error message. Is there any way to set my burner to burn at 8x through dvdshrink. The only option It gave me was maximum,2x,2.4x. I just tried running a movie through dvdfab decrypter then imported into dvdshrink and it gave me more burning speed options.I set it to 8x and it burned with no errors. Again Thanks for the Help!

Good to hear burning is going good!

With higher speed media going low is not good either.
8x speed should be fine on this burner.

When Shrink was giving you the lower options sounds like either no blank was in the drive or you were reading from the drive that you were using to write with also. It will only listed the supported speeds of the disc you have in the drive then.
One thing about Shrink though once you set the burn speed as 8x it's says that as the default until you change it again. Nero does not.

Since you just burn one set to 8x - 8x should be the default now.

And you're welcome on the help too!
