dvd burning programmes (help)

    hi im using nero v.7 to burn my movies with nero vision and it takes an age!
    is there another quicker programme? please help, i have a surplus of kids films to burn!

    In addition to Zoso's link, i'd recommend dumping Nero in favor of Imgburn, which is a freeware burn engine.

    Winavi is a bit faster. I know some people don't like it as much but it will do the job. The speed of your computer is also a huge factor. I have a 3.2 P4 cpu with HT & 2Gb of ram - I can convert an average movie in about 30 minutes with winavi. ConvertXtodvd is another good program, it converts just about anything but takes a little longer and is a bit more diffucult to learn but the quality seems to be better.

    how long? quailty needs more time... but as mentioned can be faults or speed of pc too.

    i use TFM/CCE for avi to dvd/iso about 1 hour and a half... fast pc.
