dvd burning to slow

    i just bought a new pioneer dvd+/- 8x burner. at first everything was fine. before it used to shrink dvds in 12 mins now it takes at least 40 mins. and when i burn dvd to dvd it takes 1hour 20mins. Can please somebody help me?

    Sounds like your DMA settings may have been changed. You need to ensure that you have DMA enabled for your burner. Try this link to start off with:

    If that doesn't help, try uninstalling your IDE channel through Device Manager, reboot, then let windows detect/reinstall it.
