dvd burning

    ive just downloaded a dvd rip and burned it but it skips in places but plays fine on laptop im using verbatim 16x dvds and burning at 4x can u tell me why its doing that please

    its burning on convertxtodvd if thats what u mean

    There's a chance that it's your DVD player.

    If you watch the DVD on your laptop, does it skip in the same spot? Have you tried another burning program, such as ImgBurn?

    no it doesnt skip on laptop its not a dvd ive put in laptop it downloaded from shareheaven but ive tried other copied dvds in my dvd player and their fine am i running them at the right speed 4x on a 16x dvd or do certain makes of dvds not play properly in some dvd players
