How do you get a dvd case label to come out the right size? Mine comes out vertically ok, but to short horizontally. What am i missing?

Use photoshop if you have it. Launch the program then drag and drop your picture file. Select "print with preview" from the file menu. Click "page setup" and make it a landscape. Click OK, then check "scale to fit media". Now you are ready to print.

I use Accoustica label maker regularly and the covers come out perfect. If you are using regular 8.5 x 11 paper click the warning box that appears to ignore the unprintable area and it comes out the correct size. Another alternative is feed it legal size paper 8.5 x 14. You will not have the paper selection in that size. Why software designers always want to use A4 paper size I just don't know. Printed covers fit very comfortably on regular N American 8.5 x 11 paper, A4 paper bundles are quite expensive and hard to find.
    My 2cents anyhow.
