Nothing I have tried to do to dvd cloner2 has worked so far. I've pretty much moved on by using dvd decrypt, dvd shrink, and record now by sonic with awesome results.

    Deeman,

    what all have you tried??

    Have you tried:

Making sure IDE is set to DMA?
    Updating your aspi layer?
    Updating your burners firmware?
Is your burner the master drive on its ide cable? And the only burner on that cable?

I took seemed to have been duped into purchasing DVD Cloner II. I've tried everything to get this thing to work. It never completes the "source scan" and I always get an error message. What the hell is dspenty.dll? All I know is I can't use the program. I've contacted their tech support, but from what I've been reading, the next best step will probably be to contact my credit card company. Anybody got any suggestions?

Very nice indeed! What the hell is that dspenty.dll?
I always get toward the end of the sorce files and it craps out! I'm using a dvd-rom to read and different drive to try to burn (lite-on 851/s). I've tried cleaning my registry but that didn't do any good either.

I've tried everything. I'm frazzled. I'll wait to see what the geeks at teck support have to say. I'll keep everyone posted.

Good luck I've contacted them twice about the problem with no reply. What software are you using now?

I'm scared to use anything after this burn job I just got. This freakin' program made me feel like a dummy. I'm goin' heading to the Budweiser School of Stress Management. If you know of any software that POSITIVELY works, let me know. I'm tired of wasting money. Later

Did your dell come with sonic/my dvd software? If it did, the answer was right under our nose and free the whole time dude.

I uninstalled sonic and was using Roxio. I'll re-install Sonic and try that.

I make beautiful copies using dvd shrink and sonic. Forget dvd cloner! There are a number of steps to set the software up. If you are interested you can be making back-ups by tomorrow night. I have to leave in about 20 minutes but will post everything you need to do tomorrow on this same thread. Just because you are also a victim of the dvd cloner corp. If you want it.

    Ladies & Gentlemen,

While we are taking care of software issues, let's not forget the blank media for your back-ups. "RITEK GO-4" can be had for a very decent price. Usually cheaper than other name brands (or what you know them as) that you can get on sale at local stores.
