Hi JT! - You need to give me as much information as you can.

Well...... for STEP 1, you just needed DVDFabDecrypter. That's all we're going to do for now. Forget everything else.

So, you ripped the DVD ok? If you used DVDFab, you will know that you were successful at the end because a little screen pops up and says 'Successful'. Did you see that screen?

And JT - you may *very well* have been successful. WHERE did you tell DVDFab to put your ripped files into? (Did you make a folder like I said?). Before DVDFab rips anything, it has to know where you want it to store the ripped files that it creates.

How long did DVDFab take to rip your files? If it took (roughly) about 30 minutes, then YES, your files *have* been created. Somewhere.

You need to look for that Folder. Let me know if you can find it, or we'll have to start again. -- Gotta run 4 now! --

Agree. You could've left that part out Klingy. Lol.

Personally, i'm not that talented. Eyes closed while playing harmonica is the best i can get it. *sighs* I feel so outmatched!

If you found the folder Fab created with the disc information(it ripped the disc to your HD) FaB HD is done forget it and close it now unless you have Platinum version. Open DVD Shrink and navigate to the folder that Fab just made by selection the folder at tops that says "open files" go into the folder and click on the Video_TS file to open it. Awindow comes up that's analyzing the contents. Once it's finished select backup button. Then select the create an ISO option to burn with nero or create just an ISO file and you can burn it after with Decrypter or ImgBurn. After all the settings are set(use default for now)and press OK and away you go. You'll either have a burned disc if Nero was used or an ISO file that Decrupter or ImgBurn or nero can burn.

How many MB was the Movie? What program did you use after ripping with HD Fab? Go to this guide, copy it, print it, and follow the instructions. It was the first guide I got here when I came. You have me stumped this is so easy to do.

    http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd9_to_dvdr_with_dvd_shrink.cfm

If your movie is small under 4460 MB you can burn it to a single layer disc without having to recode it with shrink. And get your terminology straight. You RIP the files to HDD, you ENCODE or RECODE the files with Shrink and you BURN the files to a blank. Rip>Encode>Burn>Watch movie.

perhaps you should go back and re-read the solid advice given to you here. Follow the guide Garmoon laid out for you.

We're all here to help, but spoonfeeding is not really our thing. We're not going to show up and rip this stuff for you.

Just slow down and read all the advice everyone has posted for you.

It's also one of the first times I've seen Klingy help in the DVD burning forums. This JT45 is either getting back at us for the fun we had or is dumber than a hammer. I vote for the former and well done, but I'm through with this one.
