I need help in backing up DVD to DVD-R:
Heres what I have done so far.
    1. I was able to burn a copy of the dvd(VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS) to my HD.
    2. I Can play the movie from HD so I know that worked.
    3. Now here is where the problem begins. I have tried to back-up the dvd using Nero Essentials SE that came with my LITE-ON burner, I tried the DVD decrypter and IMGburn. The files burn but when I try to access them on the back-up DVD-R, I am unable to do so. Where am I going wrong?? I am using WINDOWS XP home edition. Does my DVD burner have to write in DVD_ROM format??? IS THIS THE PROBLEM?

    1. What software should I be using to burn the back-up to the DVD-R so that when I put the back-up into any DVD player it will play as the original does??
    2. When burning to the back-up DVD-R should I be burning the AUDIO/VIDEO_TS files or an ISO image file??

After the files were ripped to the HD, did you use DVD Shrink to compress them to fit a standard DVD-5 or were you burning to a double layer disk?
