1 think it's a case of ...if it ain't broke don't fix it...if it does the job and you like it, use it
unless you want a ton of hard drive space, which fat32 cant handle (137gb being the largest partition it will recongize) my 2 cents, get decrypter to do its thing, and shrink to do its thing, which ever way that works for you. But if or when you re-format your computer change from fat to ntfs (may involve changing to xp), it will allow you to run raid setups of 1tb without a drama (if you felt the need)
