baabaa, Its just preferance really. AnyDVD does a better job of decrypting the DVD so I just use it instead of shrinks._X_X_X_X_X_[small]DVD BackUp Info: http://www.chrismccann.co.uk DVD Guides and Tools: http://www.simpleguides.tk [/small]
Koola, it's funny really, all these tools to choose from - you just get used to using one sort I expect, I know I did. I started with Dvd Decrypter when it was first released and never really used anything different since - except just to trial..... If anyone has spare coasters going, I am in the process of making a nice set of trendy curtains.....LOL revsitup, The main difference between the 2 types are that the DVD( (dual layer) can hold MORE data (due to the other lare) so it does not matter which type you are using the structure remains the same so the vidoe/audio is all authored in the same way. The only thing is that sometimes if the movie spans across the layer break on a DVD9 then it may cause a slight pause after you have processed it - BUT it usually goes un-noticed....therefore no need to worry about that...... Hope this helps......
matter of fact i burned jurassic park III and at one point there was a slight pause in one scene but not noticed until i went back and looked at it again, happen so quick that nobody but me seen it
Yeah, it's not a major thing... During the ripping process it copies the slight transition between the layers and therefore produces a pause..... More often than not it does go un-noticed, I do get it now and again but it is minimal and 'live withable'.
Ok is it me or what, I have a new Memorex DVD-RW and with DVD-Decr. it's read rate is x2.0-2.1 speed now does that sound right, I mean I don't have a problem with that even though the dvd-rom speed is 16x read. I think slower is better to get a good read. Soooo I could be a little anal about it
I LOVE DVD Decrypter, here is how i rip & encode dvd files to my PC: 1. i ripp the .VOB file from the DVD [edited by satanic moderator] 2. i use DVD2AVI to make a .D2V & a .WAV file 3. i use TMPGEnc to encode the .D2V & a .WAV files to .MPG 4. i then burn the .MPG file and or files to a CD using Nero Express. 5. [edited by satanic moderator] total time: 7.5 hours
well hate to say this but.... it takes me 1.5 half to burn movie. DVD-DECR. 20MIN DVD2ONE 15MIN NERO 6.10 1 HR BANG, BANG, BANG DONE
