Ok I have a question not related to thread but I figure I have the best people right now to ask. What would I need for a pci card if I wanted to take my camcorder VHS tape to d/l to my harddrive them burn onto a dvd-r? Would it be like an ATI All Wonder Card somthing like that. I do some computer smarts since I upgrae a build alot of pc's around my neighberhood. But this is kinda new to me. Thank U George Steinbrenner. When you have some time check this out. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/yankees/yankees.html
You can pack it all, but your just not wearing it. Its incase they dont let us into the bar naked ;-)
Are you guys saying in this thread that there are two types of DVD's?? I guess DVD5, would be a regular length movie, without the main menu and features, and a DVD9 would be either with the main menu, or something cut into Seasonal episodes such as Sopranos? I would really like to know how to burn my Sopranos Episodes if this is what you guys are explaining how to do, If yes than I will re read all these posts to get the idea of what to do. Thanks.
Smite, have a look at http://www.chrismccan.co.uk for guides relating to Dvd Shrink and episode backups.... DVD5 are single layer and can hold approx 4.7Gb of data - commercial blanks are of the DVD5 format.... DVD9 are dual layer, and can hold double that of a DVD5 and are more and more common for commercial dvd's today.... DVD9 discs need to have info stripped/compressed in order to fit them on a standard dvdr blank - DVD5... Again checkout the guide at the link above.... Were going for a sail to a nice sunny place, unless hurricane Gemma is gonna show up....LOL Cos we're all going on an October holiday no more afterdawning for a day or two - I believe this version is better than Cliff Richards version......LOL
Koola can do your back - ill do the rest of ya ;-) What will i be wearing - not a thing. :-D At 21 i've no longer got any worries about being naked lol
lol - no problemo :-D As Paul sort off hinted at, this very off topic thread has gone way way off topic lol
What about my dam ferry trip, just covered myself in fake tan and done some pumping down at the gym, to get my sixpack up....aswell as the sixpack I was takin on board.....ar well the fantasy was fun while it lasted......roll on xmas, maybe I can get a ride in Santa's sleigh instead....LOL
lol - roll on christmas, then more importantly January/February as im going skiing to meribel in the Three Valleys, one of the best ski resorts in Europe. :-D I'll be loving it. You know what the best bit about skiing is. At night time you get to play the coors lite add and see how far you can run in your boxers to put a bottle in the snow. I was told by police last time that i was indecent and had to put clothes on lol. I have a photo somewhere of it. Speakin of beer - i just bought a 12 pack of 1 litre Stella Artois bottles. :-D :-D
Well, if green is a colour that suits you, this time next week, I will be sitting on a Caribbean island and early December I will be in Les Trois Vallees myself. Schus. Paul.
Loaded, so it is true then, you actually do have alot of holidays......LOL Let me in on your secret, I get about one a year, if the gods are lookin on me...... Maybe you should submit a guide or something....LOL......have a good time....yeah man.....
Im back from Barbados a while ago. Where abouts are you going in the carribean Paul, also, when are you going the the three valleys and which one are you staying in? Im staying in meribel, but ill get a pass for all 3. We will be staying in a chalet way up above the level of the town. I cant bloody wait :-D Are you going for skiing?
I will be in FWI (St Barthélémy) in the Caribbean. In France staying with friends close to Orelle (The Cable car that leads from near Tunnel Frejus to Val Thorens) I tend to avoid big places full of hopeless slow 'tourist' skiiers and look for serious off piste challenges and uncrowded local runs. Lots more adrenalin when there are trees and rocks and you can't be sure you can stop before the cliff ;-) I will actually go to Val Thorens, but it is a bit basic, I'm afraid, except for la combe, the unclassified/yellow (yellow is often harder than black, but varies) mogul run that leads back to Orelle. fusk ME that is tough! Even harder than the north face of Piz Nair. It is kind of fun sitting on a beach one month and skiing the next.... I can actually feel the earth tremour as we write these posts as dRD screams 'OFF TOPIC' I should know better as a moderator lol. Paul.
