dvd decryptor problem

    after copying one of my dvd's with dvd decryptor the resultant dvd does not fill my monitor. The sides of the movie are about an inch from the reaching end of display. top to bottom ok.
    anyone know how i may get around this??

    Is this a store bought dvd movie?

    Try it on standalone player. DVD's most never look good on a PC.

    yes it is a store bought movie. My nephew bought a set of the family guy off of ebay not realising it was region 1. The original play's fine on the computer. And usually dvd's do look pretty good on this pc.

    so original plays fine....

    ok did you do a full dvd backup? did you only use dvd decrypter and no other apps?

    are you region 2 then? with region 1 to 2 there is size differences but if you say original works ok, may be a setting in one of the apps.

    region 1 = 720x486
    region 2 = 720x576
