    Hi All,
I spoke to soon. Decrypt and Shrink only read the newly burned disk if I don't take it out of the tray after burning. Same problem as before. I don't get it. Sonic read the the disk but stopped about 3/4 of the way through and said there was a ifo. file missing. I have tried to copy a copy a few different ways and the same problem happens. The disk can be played on a free standing player. This seriously s--ks. My kingdom for a fix.
The error message is posted in the post above.

Well I guess I won't have to give away the farm just yet.
After following Scuba Pete's auggestion (to the letter) on using DVD Decrypt and Shrink, I now have no problems with the DVD drive reading the disk and or it's ability to copy a copy. The trick is that Decrypt needs it's own Folder to do it's job. Worked for me! Life is good again. He has got some other doog ideas. Give his site a try: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/petesguide3.html

So far so good. I'm not sure if it's the change from CompUSA media to Sony or if it was the creation of the extra folder for DVD Decrypt to do it's job. I think I'll keep both things!
