Finally. Thanks so much for the help, but wait. Why does my games run extremely slow. They both freeze or run extremely slow!
No, i don't use no-cd/no-dvd files. Why would i even need a no-cd/no-dvd file? My computer is not slow, so having slow games surprise me.
what are your pc specs , such as ram, cpu, graphic card, did u restart pc after u installed and do u have the lastest direct x installed.other wise I dont know why your game is running slow never had it happen.
Listen if you downloaded the files lonerz told you too and you switched put them in your games install folder than you are in fact using fixed files. They are essentially the files you need to start and play the game but they are hacked to allow you to play without a disc. Doesnt matter how fast your computer is if the files are f***ed up then the game will run weird. In your case it ran slow. Another option but less likely is you have spyware/adware on your system and its slowing everything down.
u must be running a bootleg copy I ask the team at cd freaks they all say the same that your copy is a bootleg becouse if they where copied from a game disc u wouldnt be having these problems or u screwed the copy up somehow .I think its time to close this thread . otherwise jion gamecopy or cd freaks and see what they say as that all Im posting on this.
Ok, i forgot that i used a no-cd patch for Battlefield Vietnam. I tried to use one when i couldn't get it to run. I went to the folder and there is one of those patch .exe. I thought that uninstalling then re-installing the game would delete the patch. But for Diablo 2L LOD, i never used a patch and it ran very slow and froze. Heres an image: Im not sure about that file with a question mark. I dont have the instructions anymore, but i remember renaming bfvietnam.exe to go.exe, and by playing by the shortcut: go.exe. So, should i uninstall bfv again and delete the patches? Thanks for all the help
I uninstalled the game, then deleted everything in the folders, but when i reinstalled it ran just as slow and froze, making me have to turn off my computer.
