while backing up a dvd, dvd shrink gave me an error. PROGRAMMING ERROR-EXCEPTION OCCURED. THE PARAMETER IS INCORRECT. What does this mean? How can I bypass it?

This probably means that the DVD is tougher to handle. You may try to use DVD Decrpyter to do the ripping instead. Or you may try to play the DVD for a short while before trying to use Shrink again (with disc still in burner).
    Good luck!

I back the file using dvd decrp. but the file is to big to burn. I'm open to any procedures.

Use Nero or other programs that can handle DVD9 to DVD5 burning for the job.
    Cheers!
