I didn't see a post on this subject and I hope it's not redundant. I am trying to back up "The Eye", and several other titles, but the files are too large for DVD Shrink. Any suggestions? Should I invest in Clone DVD2 or are there other options?

its a copy protection problem that dvd shrink can't handle since its an out of date program. you have a new movie/s with the latest copy protection and a program that hasn't been updated in over three years.

clonedvd + anydvd update for the newer hard to do titles weekly yes its a great program or there are freeware options dvdfab decrypter being one of them. all the info you need is here

I agree with ZoSoIV The combination of Clone Dvd2 wirh AnyDvd is unbeatable I bought it about three years ago and it never lets me down + there a free updates every couple of weeks which SlySoft contact you to DL, but you must use both prog's together AnyDvd just runs in the background unlocking every dvd you insert CloneDvd2 then can burn the unlocked DVD, simple to use and great results !

I got a copy of the application "AnyDVD" and it doesn't work! not that i need it. anyway what i can suggest is re-authoring "The Eye" then shrink it, Then encode it and so on. What i would try is going to Harvey Norman and asking for a Blu ray disc that holds 25GB. but i do not know if there is a way the disc will play in your dvd player! that is something you will have to look in to.
