    Hi Guys,

Can I use DVD media as means of data backup? I would like to back up my clips, pics and docs and was wondering if this is possible. It can be done with a CD so I cant see why not a DVD. What do I use to burn this with?

    many thanks,

    Striker.

Yes you can, many CD burning apps easily burn DVDs too (i.e., Nero, CDRWIN5, Alcohol120)

    Hi Praetor,

I am trying to use Nero but cant seem to get it to accept the DVD LG 4040B burner. It sees it in the pulldown list but wont accept it as a burner when I click OK. I also tried to use Neo plus 5 which came with the DVD burner but when I select audio/data it replies saying I need to purchase NEO Studio.
    Any ideas?

    Many thanks,

    Striker.
