DVD - HDD Format

    Hey everyone i tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything on the topic ...i was just wondering if anyone out there knows if the HDD in the new DVD/HDD recorders are formated in any special format or could you get a normal pc formated hdd and replace it ....the standard seams to be 80gig i was wanting to upgrade it to a 180-200gig drive if at all possible ????
