I have been burning DVD's for awhile and have recently started having a problem with DVD's jumping back to the beginning of the chapter while the disc is playing. I hit the skip button and the disc will play fine after that. It is just annoying. This has happened with several different brands of discs and different DVD players. I have used two different programs to burn the discs also. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is going on? I have burned plenty of DVD's and have not had this problem until recently. I would appreciate any help.
Have you made sure you encoded your Files useing a Closed "GOP"?? An Open GOP can Cause inaccurate Playback and Navigation of Chapter Points... Just a Thought....
How do you do a closed "GOP"? I use mainly DVD Shrink to encode my files and also Nero Recode. I do also have DVD Decryptor if I need to use that and AnyDVD. Please let me know how to do the closed "GOP" using these programs. Thanks.
Sory but I can not help you here as these Programs do not have the Options you are Looking for as DVD Shrink is not a proper Encoder...
