Having burnt the dvd, took 6 hours to transcode, when played the video is fine but the slide shows lock up after 2 or 3 pictures, suspect tried to burn too quick,tried burning new dvd at slower speed but seems to burn at max anyway, is there any way to turn the burn speed down, am useing nero 7 essentials that came with Liteon dl dvd writer
Nero gives you the option to pick your burning speeds..... insert your blank DVD and Nero will give you the option to pick your speeds that the disk will allow.... if it only goes to MAXIMUM then Nero is having trouble recognizing your disk and it's capabilities of burning speeds! I suggest you use better media. Follow the MIJ rule (Made In Japan)... look for the MIJ on the label of the box or spindle......Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Maxell, Fuji, and others have MIJ disks... look for them or just buy Verbatim, which are top notch disk but made in Taiwan/Singapore and are the only exception to the MIJ rule and the only NON MIJ disks to get close to my burners!
