    *shrug*
    Hi everybody,
I hope someone can help me with this quite frustrating problem I have got.

I have a few VOB-files on my HD.
Using the propper software discussed on this and other sites I have managed to shrink the files to be put onto DVD+RW.
It took quite some time btw, but ok; the files are on the disc. My dvd player (and I've tested this on two different players: both topknotch imho) sees that it is a dvd-video and starts playing the dvd as a movie directly on my tv-screen.
    No probs untill here...
BUT: the damn video plays three seconds and skips one second back over and over. So in time I get to the end of the DVD, but it's not that "enjoyable" to watch if you know what I mean...

I have used DVD2ONE to make sure the file fitted onto the disc.
I have tried to write the file with Nero 5.5.9.14 and CopyToDvd.
I also own a registered version of Alcohol 120% and DVD Decrypter.

Could someone please be so cool to help me out?
    Thanks! :)

PS: I tried reading the faq and rules, but the link is broken...

try different media. many standalones are not compatible with +rw. you will have better luck with -r > +r > -rw/+rw. I suspect your problem is media/standalone compatibility. Here is a link for that: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers.php
