    Hi all,
Firstly im new to this DVD copying stuff, so b gentle..
Anyway my problem is that ive managed to get my movies onto DVD-R discs (using TMPc Authoring & Nero 6.0 UDF 1.02)but when I play them on either my PC or DVD standalone (Ive tried a few different 1's) the movie just stops after 45 mins or so. I noticed on my PC that the disc was still spinning but the pic just frooze. Once the disc stop spinning the program (Power DVD) then went bk 2 the start. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
    Thanks

Hi, A bit more info. Ive narrowed it down to possibly the joining i do with 2 mpgs. I use svcd2dvd which automates to procedure. When the DVD gets to frame(s) that interlink the DVD picture freezes. Ive been burning at 4x then 2x but think maybe this is still 2 fast. Anyway ive now joined a movie using AVI MPEG RMWMV joiner & I am about to copy this at 1X. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated..

    Cheers

You are probably using crappy cheapo discs. Try changing the discs first.

Did the encode go through successfully or were there errors that you chose to ignore? How about the original source AVI movie?
