I'm confused. Are you playing it from the DVD or your HD?

I take it you mean a file from a ripped DVD or a downloaded file that resides on your Hard Drive. Is this correct?

If you were trying to make a backup of a concert DVD that you owned I might be able to offer some help, but since it is downloaded and you do not own the original I can't help and will not respond further.
