Dvd Players that read dual layer disks

    I am looking for a dvd player/recorder for my tv that is capable of reading dual layer disks, any ideas or personel experience welcome and thank you in advance

    All standalone DVD players can read dual-layer DVDs (i.e., commercial mvies are mostly dual layers), so I guess you mean writing to them. I haven't read of any players out now that can write to D/Ls, but Sony's new DVD recorders coming out in a few months will have this capability. http://news.sel.sony.com/pressrelease/print/5663
