    classmate has a CD and a CD-R/W drive....wants to know can he install this software and..BAM...have a copy of a DVD????????? (I'm trying not to laff as he's beside me) Pls read below......

    He's currently hooking up his pioneer dvd player into the back of his Dell to use as an external drive. What the hell???? I'll stick with dcrypt!!!

    Ungh.. You need to have DVD-ROM to rip the movies and those lame commercial packages are nothing but ripping morons off by bundling freeware tools with "guides".

    As I assume your friend doesn't have DVD-R burner, he needs to do VCD copies out of his DVDs. Guides & stuff are available at our article section:
