Everytime I'm ready to burn the new dvd, either dvd decrypter or Roxio won't recognize my blank disc. In dvd decrypter, It says "Please insert a valid DVD target disc. I'm using a Memorex DVD-R 16x 4.7gb disc, so i dont know why its not recognizing it. Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

try a firmware update for your drive/burner. check here

or you drive may not like the memorex media (which would be my last choice) so try a different brand like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim

Memorex is not a friendly media either for burners or for quality and longevity.
If you want good quality burns that will last, stick with the good stuff: made in Japan Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, or Sony. Just a suggestion.
