Hi all, Was wondering if anyone knows of DVD ripping software for OS X that lets you choose specific timing, like ripping a 10 sec sequence, without ripping the whole movie or chapter. Does one exist for PC ( I can use bootcamp)? Thanks in advance, Matt
handbrake is an incredible ripper ....its free and the best one for mac http://handbrake.fr/ if you want one that can just ripp a few seconds then use IMTOOs ripper, its cheap and terrible i'll be honest with you http://www.imtoo.com/ -tripplite

best part is it does the job and allows you to input settings to your right tweak i prefer ripping to VOB then converting but sometimes if its for ipod and such the quality isn't really at stake
